A great comic book has the ability to take you out of the real world and immerse you in the world of the comic. Redcoat is a fantastic example of that. The Redcoat #10 is the latest installment of the Redcoat series and it is a thrill ride from start to finish.
All About Redcoat
The comic follows the story of Simon Pure, an immortal British Redcoat that has been alive for over 100 years. Simon became immortal after stumbling upon hooded figures performing a ritual in the woods. The first installment of the series follows Simon as he becomes accustomed to being immortal and as he struggles to find his place in this new life that he has made for himself.
This is a fantastic series that marries mystery and history and that takes readers on a wild ride from start to finish. Each installment follows Simon as he struggles to come to terms with his immortality and all that it brings. A great example is Simon Pure is a lousy shot and meets Annie Oakley, the famous sharpshooter from the wild west in the 10th installment of the series. This installment of the series follows Simon Pure and his relationship with Annie and how the two work together.
Geoff Johns
The series is written by Geoff Johns along with illustrators Brad Anderson and Bryan Hitch. It is fantastically written and illustrated and will take readers into the world of the wild west and into the life of the immortal soldier. This is a series that is fantastic for those that like history and that also like a bit of the paranormal.
This is a series that is well written, just like all of Johns other pieces, and is one that is going to keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Johns takes a story and makes it fully immersive so that with each page you see more and more of the characters and more and more of the story.
Geoff creates stories that make you care about characters and make you truly want to see what happens next, and help keep you engaged until the next issue is released. Geoff writes in a range of different genres, but there is still that same zest and flare that is common in his works that you can see no matter which comic you are reading.
Ghost Machine
The Ghost Machine company was founded in 2023 by Geoff Johns to help keep the ownership and intellectual property that is comic books with the illustrators and writers rather than passing off the ownership to big companies and publishers. This means that the hard work that writers and illustrators put into their comic books stays with them rather than diverts to the publisher.
The collective has a huge range of comic books that cover a range of different topics and types for just about any reader. From historical science fiction like Redcoat, to straight horror like Hyde Street, Ghost Machine has it. The company has tons of options that will satiate the tastes and preferences of any reader and help you find the next series that you eagerly await for each issue to be released.
Ghost Machine is different for a few reasons. First, they do not sell out the writer or the illustrators by diverting ownership of intellectual property to the publishing company. The rights stay fully with the writers and illustrators so that they can keep all money that comes from it, and so that they have full freedom over what happens to the characters and storylines that they have worked so hard to create.
